Purity Explosion
“Purity Explosion!” I heard God say back in May 2020.
I was asking what He wanted to do in my first year class that starts this Fall. But it wasn’t just for us.
Right now in the Earth, I see the enemy sending out his agents of sexual perversion to meddle in our feelings, imagination and dreams. BUT GOD has an explosion of purity in mind!
I laughed as I saw the enemy’s onslaught coming, but the sons and daughters of God were too consumed with the fellowship and worship of their Father that the enemy couldn’t even get their attention. The enemy kept getting whacked away in the face unbeknownst to the children of God that were just dancing and delighting in Him.
Yes Lord!! God wants to bring freedom in the corners and crevices of our habits and inner life.
Purity is unattainable on our own. In Jesus, purity is our portion…His righteousness our covering…Our lens that we get to see the Father through. Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God! (Matthew 5:8)
We can know about the Father’s love, maybe we’ve actually encountered it one time or a handful of times. But abiding in His love and continuing to receive the endless waves of it requires our pursuit of being fully known at all times.
We are not just waiting for Him to chase us, we are chasing Him! Our Beloved!
I have this exercise I’ve done with my kids. After reading about the prodigal son from Luke chapter 11, they stand on the chair. I ask them “Are you going to hide or run into Papa God’s loving arms?” They get to choose. They always say “run into Papa God’s loving arms!” and lunge at me with giggles and grins – into my arms.
My kids know they never have to hide anything from us or from Papa God, that shaming and punishment is not His response. His correction and discipline is within His loving embrace. His ways lead to pleasure and abundant life as He always intended.
Take a moment and invite the Holy Spirit right now. Ask Him to help you build the habit of recognizing thoughts and feelings throughout the ordinary moments of your day that He wants to speak into. Maybe there’s some He’s bringing up right now.

My heart is burning right now for us not to be ignorant of the enemy’s schemes. We can’t assume every feeling, thought, and dream is our own! Even if we’re the one in a dream or thought, we should ask the Holy Spirit to search and purify our hearts and minds personally. We also must be aware that a lot of what we are experiencing right now is coming at us, not from us.
We are in a spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:12). Ask the Holy Spirit in these moments if there’s a specific person or region you are meant to intercede on behalf of, then bind the spirit behind whatever you’re experiencing and declare what is in Jesus (Matthew 18:18). Feast on His Word with Him personally. Set yourself up to hear His voice and leading.
I’m believing for a revival of purity starting in our own hearts and minds, overflowing under our own roofs and within our own families, streaming out into our regions and across the Earth. When we are committed to being fully known by the Father and in pursuit of the heart of Jesus, we can’t help but become the children of God that are so consumed in worship and delight that nothing can penetrate.
